The hotel will be managed and operated by&nbsp;<strong>by an internationally recognized hospitality brand,<\/strong>&nbsp;ensuring world-class service and guest experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, works are now underway across key infrastructure packages, including the beautification and enhancement of the Airport Road \u2014 a vital corridor connecting&nbsp;<strong>Lebanon\u2013Syria border to Damascus International Airport<\/strong>\u2014 incorporating upgraded entrances and exits, improved safety and connectivity, enhanced lighting, and comprehensive landscaping. Together, these initiatives form part of a transformative, multi-phase redevelopment program aimed at creating a modern, efficient, and sustainable aviation hub that meets&nbsp;<strong>ICAO&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>IATA&nbsp;<\/strong>international standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UCC Airport signed the agreements with the following companies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>HESCO Hammada Engineering Services:<\/strong>\u00a0Responsible for the\u00a0<strong>design and rehabilitation of Terminals 1 and 2,<\/strong>\u00a0as well as the\u00a0<strong>design of the new Terminal 3<\/strong>\u00a0and all associated facilities. HESCO brings extensive experience across\u00a0<strong>more than 25 major infrastructure and airport development projects<\/strong>\u00a0in the region, ensuring technical excellence and international design compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>H\u2019Collective:<\/strong>\u00a0Responsible for the\u00a0<strong>architectural and interior design<\/strong>\u00a0of the new Damascus Airport Hotel. The scope spans all stages \u2014 from concept to construction design \u2014 ensuring an optimized layout and a premium guest experience. H\u2019Collective has successfully designed over\u00a0<strong>20 hotels\u00a0<\/strong>in partnership with\u00a0<strong>leading international hospitality brands<\/strong>\u00a0worldwide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners):\u00a0<\/strong>As the\u00a0<strong>Project Management Office (PMO),<\/strong>\u00a0responsible for\u00a0<strong>site supervision<\/strong>, design review and approval, oversight of design development, and verification of project schedules and interim payments, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The scope also covers the study and enhancement of the Damascus Airport Road, including maintenance and connectivity reviews, and proposing both short-term beautification and comprehensive upgrade options in line with international standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar Al-Handasah brings extensive global aviation expertise, having contributed to more than 40 international airport projects across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>DG Jones and Partners:\u00a0<\/strong>Responsible for contract management, cost control, and quantity surveying, leveraging a global portfolio of over 30 airport and aviation infrastructure projects, ensuring value engineering, transparency, and financial efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>JV Elegancia Catering and Newrest Gulf:<\/strong>\u00a0Overseeing the design and operation of the airport\u2019s central kitchen and in-flight catering facilities.
