With the participation of Child Ambassador Ahmed Adel Al-Khayal, the “World Day of Hope” was launched to support children

Childhood Ambassador Ahmed Adel Al-Khayal is participating in the launch of “World Hope Day”, scheduled to begin on March 13, an initiative of the International Union for the Defense of Children’s Rights, as part of international efforts aimed at supporting children and promoting their rights around the world.
This humanitarian initiative comes with the participation of a number of Arab countries, in a step aimed at highlighting childhood issues and promoting the values of hope and solidarity with children, especially orphans and those living in difficult humanitarian conditions, through a set of initiatives and activities aimed at improving their conditions and opening up better prospects for their future.
Ahmed Adel Al-Khayal stressed that participating in this global initiative represents a humanitarian responsibility and an important message to support children and highlight their rights, noting that caring for childhood is a real investment in the future of societies, and that unifying efforts between institutions and public figures contributes to spreading awareness of the importance of protecting children and providing a safe environment that guarantees them education, care and a decent life.
The activities of “World Hope Day” are scheduled to include organizing group breakfast tables for orphaned children and children with special needs, in addition to holding recreational and cultural activities, distributing Eid clothing and gifts to the participating children, as well as launching solidarity messages from the children to the international community expressing their hopes for a safer and more just future.
The event is being held simultaneously in a number of Arab countries, including Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Palestine and Sudan, with the ambition to expand the initiative in the coming years to include more than 30 countries around the world, thereby strengthening human solidarity with children and giving them space to express their dreams and aspirations.
For her part, Rabab Bakir, Secretary-General of the International Union for the Defense of Children’s Rights, affirmed that “World Hope Day” represents a humanitarian message that children direct to the whole world, the meaning of which is that the future of humanity begins with protecting childhood and nurturing its dreams.
In the same context, Counselor Adel Al-Khayal, President of the International Federation for the Defense of Children’s Rights in Egypt, indicated that preparations are underway to organize a distinguished humanitarian event that includes an integrated program to support orphaned and needy children through various activities that contribute to bringing joy to their hearts.
Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa also announced that preparations in Jordan are well underway to organize a special event within this initiative, in cooperation with a number of institutions and volunteers, with the aim of conveying a message of hope to the world and promoting the values of human solidarity.
World Hope Day comes to confirm that hope is still present in the eyes of children despite the humanitarian challenges the world is witnessing, in a global message with the slogan: “Together we create hope… for the children of the world.”
