Istanbul is witnessing a symposium to present the date of the “Master Cup” match between the Libyan and Romanian national teams in Derna

The city of Istanbul, the European side, witnessed a press conference to announce the “Master Cup” match, which will bring together the world champion, the Romanian mini-football team, with the Libyan national team, representing Africa, on December 15th on the international stadium in the city of Derna, under the supervision of the Confederation of African Football. Mini.
This meeting comes within the activities of the draw for the African Cup of Nations in Derna 2025, as well as the annual ceremony of the Confederation.
On the part of the African Confederation, the press conference was attended by its president, Mr. Ashraf Ben Salha, the Secretary-General, Mr. Sami Bouzid, and the head of the Legal Committee, Mr. Maati Al-Dakhli. On the part of the Libyan General Federation of Mini Football, Mr. Mohamed Ambeya and Mr. Mansour Maaloul attended, while from the Romanian Federation, the secretary attended. Ben Salha pointed out that the “Master Cup” match will be held every two years, bringing together the world champion and the African champion, with the Libyan team choosing this edition due to the readiness of its infrastructure, which coincides with the opening of the best mini-football stadiums in the world. He added that this match will be a global gateway. For Libya, it contributes to strengthening its bid to host the 2027 Mini Football World Cup.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Romanian Federation, Mr. Attila Takacs, thanked Mr. Ashraf Ben Salha for this initiative and the kind invitation from the Libyan General Mini Football Federation, stressing that the match goes beyond the sporting aspect to reflect the development and progress witnessed by Libya, in a positive message broadcast to the world, which is the message Which he will send by visiting Libya.
Vice President Stefan Dahn expressed his happiness at visiting Africa again after the 2017 World Cup in Tunisia, stressing that the Romanian national team will attend with all its players who won the 2023 World Championship in the UAE.
Mr. Mohamed Ambia, a member of the Executive Office of the Libyan General Federation of Mini Football, also welcomed the guests, stressing that Libya will host the event in the best possible way, making Derna a real date for a global football wedding for international mini football.
