The former secretary general of the UGTT, Houcine Abassi, underlined, this Sunday, May 21, 2023, the need to give explanations, relating to the grievances of the arrest of the detainees, he declared, this Sunday, during his visit to Jaweb Hamza.
He also said that the President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, is called upon to communicate with civil society and engage in dialogue, while adopting a new approach that guarantees the freedoms .
"Without freedoms, we cannot speak of democracy", he said, reiterating, in this context, the importance of the contribution of political parties in society.
Also, the guest of Mosaïque FM, he called on all stakeholders to put the country’s interest first, before any other consideration.
