Ahmed Farid opens the retrospective exhibition of his father, the artist Mohamed Farid, in the ARTTALKS Gallery

The artist Ahmed Farid, the first retrospective exhibition of his father, the late plastic artist Mohamed Farid, opened in the ARTTALKS Gallery in Zamalek, in a major artistic and cultural event that brought together art lovers and fans of the artist’s creations who left an unforgettable imprint in the history of Egyptian plastic art.

 

The exhibition included a selection of the most prominent works of the late artist, which was characterized by its deep philosophical vision and its unique blending between spirituality and modernity, and these works that spanned six decades, presented the attendees a rare opportunity to get to know a unique artistic world, formed a milestone in the march of contemporary Egyptian plastic art.

 

The ceremony witnessed a remarkable presence of a group of artists and media professionals, among them the artist Hani Ramzi, the artist Dalia Al -Behairi, the singer Nafin Rajab, the artist Laila Ezz Al -Arab, and the media Gilan Alaa, who expressed their great admiration for the works presented and their influence on the march of the late artist, which was represented in his paintings that embody the depth Technically and humanly.

 

The artist Ahmed Farid said during his opening speech: “This moment is the most important in my life, because it represents a honor for the legacy of a great person and artist that enriched our life with his art and humanity, and the works of my father are not just paintings, but rather human and philosophical messages that will remain alive in our hearts and minds.”

 

Ahmed Farid added: “This exhibition is not just a presentation of artwork, but rather a celebration of an exceptional creative journey, and an artistic vision that was able to touch the hearts of millions, and we hope that this exhibition will be an inspiration for future generations.”

 

The exhibition lasts for three weeks in the ARTTALKS Gallery located on Al -Kamil Street, Mohamed in Zamalek, where visitors will be able to enjoy an exceptional artistic experience that provides a comprehensive overview of the creations of the late artist Mohamed Farid, whose artistic heritage remains present despite his departure, stressing that real art does not die.
