Tekha Selim: The Man Who Turns Vision Into Reality and Reality Into Lasting Impact
Across boardrooms, conferences, and global stages, Tekha has built a reputation for doing what few leaders can: turning vision into reality and reality into lasting impact, connecting the worlds of health, technology, and both human and environmental sustainability.
He operates at the intersection of AI, robotics, sustainability, and human performance, helping governments, corporations, and institutions shape a future where innovation serves both people and the planet.
Long before leading major projects globally, Tekha was already making his mark in the United States of America. He became one of the youngest instructors ever to teach at a university while completing his master’s degree. At an age when most were focused on one path, he was doing five: earning his master’s degree, teaching two university courses to hundreds of students, competing at the NCAA level, running a business, and speaking across the world to audiences reaching hundreds of thousands, sharing his personal story and journey.

“It was an experience that simply didn’t exist anywhere else,” he recalls. “I was teaching university students in the morning, and one of them was also my basketball teammate. We’d start the day in study hall, where he’d be preparing for my exam while I was grading his assignment. After class, we’d walk together straight to team practice. That dynamic, teaching your own teammate by day and competing against him by night, was unheard of in any university. It taught me how to lead in completely different environments, whether in the classroom as an instructor or on the court as an athlete.”

“That mix of academia, athletics, and entrepreneurship shaped his mindset early, showing that leadership isn’t about choosing one path, but about excelling in multiple fields with focus, integrity, and purpose.”
Early in his life, Tekha suffered a pulmonary embolism, a moment that changed how he viewed time, health, and purpose. “It made me realize how short life can be, and how powerful it becomes when you decide to use it with intention,” he says. “From that point on, I made a promise to dedicate my energy to advancing people’s lives and making well-being a priority in everything I do.” That clarity became the driving force behind his work, a lifelong commitment to helping people and organizations live and perform at their best.

In 2014, Tekha hosted his own TV show focused on innovation, leadership, and human development, highlighting the stories of pioneers shaping the future. The show gave audiences a glimpse into the mindset of a generation redefining impact through creativity and purpose.
Not long after, a German technology company developed the world’s smallest AI-powered 3D sports performance device and named it MYMO Tekha in his honor. The device measures athletic motion and biometrics with exceptional accuracy.
In 2017, at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), Tekha led the expansion of the Global WELL Healthy Building Movement across the Middle East and North Africa. He played a key role in embedding health and well-being into national sustainability agendas. Under his leadership, the MENA region grew to represent over one billion square feet of projects enrolled in various WELL programs, covering thousands of corporate headquarters, hospitals, universities, residential developments, and major government projects.

He worked closely with organizations such as the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Land Department, NEOM, Majid Al Futtaim, Emirates NBD, Mubadala, Dubai Police, Dubai Holding, EMAAR, Al-Futtaim Group, Dubai Future Foundation, and Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, among several others. Together, they helped redefine sustainability to include both human health and environmental performance. “The goal was never just to make buildings greener,” he says. “It was to make them healthier, for the people inside and the planet outside.”
In addition to his corporate leadership, Tekha serves as an Ambassador and Board Member at Qaderoon Foundation for Sustainable Development, an organization that empowers young people to create change across Egypt and the region through education, innovation, and sustainability.
He is also the Founder of the Future of Health, Wellness & Innovation Forum, a landmark event that explored how health and well-being are directly tied to the buildings and communities where people spend most of their time. The Forum brought together regional and global leaders from across sectors to highlight how healthier, smarter buildings contribute to environmental goals.
In another milestone, Tekha founded the Solutions for a Better Life Conference, organized by Tekha Group in collaboration with the World Health Organization, the University of Sharjah, and WVSU. The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. The conference gathered thousands of scholars, researchers, professionals, and students from around the world to the UAE, drawing attention from global media and major institutions. Experts and policymakers came together to address global health challenges, while the event also featured an academic symposium and a World Future Leaders Program that brought together students from more than 100 countries.
Under Tekha Group, which has hosted events and initiatives globally and regionally focused on health, wellness, and sustainable development, Tekha has amplified his message that well-being and sustainability must go hand in hand with innovation and education. His work has been featured widely across global and regional media, where he continues to inspire new generations to think differently about leadership and impact.
At P3Global, the company he currently leads, Tekha focuses on advancing innovation at the intersection of AI, robotics, and environmental analytics. The company works to integrate intelligent technologies that enhance health, efficiency, and sustainability across organizations and cities. Built on the principle of People, Planet, Profit, P3Global demonstrates that economic performance, human health, and environmental sustainability can thrive together. “Technology is powerful,” he says. “But its purpose is to serve humanity. True innovation improves how people live, not just how systems operate.”
Beyond his corporate and institutional work, Tekha has become a sought-after international speaker, delivering talks to hundreds of thousands of people around the world, including appearances on three TEDx stages. His message is universal: leadership, health, and sustainability are not separate paths but one shared mission.
Tekha’s work bridges policy, science, and leadership on a global scale. He has been recognized by the White House in Washington, D.C. for his contributions to education and empowerment and holds the UAE Golden Visa in acknowledgment of his leadership in advancing innovation and sustainability.
What sets Tekha apart is not just what he’s achieved, but how he leads. He combines precision with empathy, data with conscience, and innovation with humanity. “I don’t believe in waiting for the future,” he says. “You build it with purpose, precision, and heart.”

What began as a journey of personal resilience has evolved into a global movement that challenges how we think about health, sustainability, and leadership itself. For Tekha, the mission has never been about success; it has always been about significance. To inspire, to innovate, and to leave every place and every person better than he found them.
He isn’t just part of the conversation about the future; he’s shaping it.
